About Me
I am an integrative therapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). My qualifications include a BSc in science, an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy.
Working integratively means that I draw from a number of approaches such as psychodynamic, person-centred, humanistic, cognitive and trauma-informed work in order to adapt the therapy to your individual needs. My practice is underpinned by the belief that human beings are fundamentally relational and that our wellbeing is greatly influenced by the quality of our connections with others. I work collaboratively, fostering a strong alliance where self-acceptance, healing and growth are facilitated in ways that suit each client's individual needs.
Alongside my private practice I support clients in a specialised LGBTQ+ psychotherapy service. Before retraining as a therapist I worked in biomedical research and media production which gives me an understanding of working in pressured, fast paced environments.
I work in an affirmative way with clients from diverse backgrounds and sexual and gender identities.
I can offer sessions in English and Spanish.
